Alice

Center Director

Alice has a degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies from the University of Washington. She brings experience from many different types of Child Development Centers. She started as a student volunteer at Sand Point Child Development Center and came back in the summer of 2019. SPCDC holds a special place in her heart and is dedicated to making it the best it can be through research, constant collaboration and challenging the norms

Luci

Toddler Teacher

18 month – 3 year olds

Luci began teaching at the beginning of 2019 and quickly found her niche with toddlers! Approaching big feelings with composure and guiding young children through their emotions with self-regulation skills quickly became her favorite part of the job. Born and raised in Washington state, she learned to appreciate outdoor experiences in all weather and is always seeking opportunities to incorporate natural elements in classroom projects. She is a big believer in “school families” and building a sense of community. In her free time, she enjoys grabbing her camera and heading off on road trips. Thor’s Well is her favorite destination and her mom is her favorite traveling companion! When she’s not exploring, she enjoys reading, baking, re-watching old favorite movies, and spending time with family.
